The Ricard Bunnel Viola Outfit is an upgrade to the Kennedy Beginner in that it has more
choice wood on the back, sides and top of the viola. More time has been taken in the final
stages of carvinig to ensure better tone quality and projection. The bow has been upgraded
as well. The frog is made from 100% EBONY and the eye is genuine mother of pearl. We are
confident that you will be more than satisfied with the attention to detail and ease of
playability that these violas have to offer. If you've gone to a local string shop to see what is
a vailable for the same price, you will be shocked at the quality that this instrument offers
at such a low price.
Ricard Bunnel Violas are sold as an outfit. They come with case, bow, rosin and are ready to
play. They are constructed of SOLID Maple back/sides and SOLID carved Spruce on the top.
All of the fittings are 100% African Ebony or Boxwood depending on availability. The
fittings include:
Pegs, Chinrest and Fingerboard. Carpini Spruce is not only premium tight
grained spruce, but is aged 4 years as well for very even sound.

* Shoulder straps for the case, so it can be carried over the shoulder
