Within 45 days of receipt of your instrument, you may return any item for
any reason for a full refund. We'll even refund the shipping cost if the return
is a result of our error. Send the instrument back with a copy of your original
receipt and a note with the reason for return. We will call or email you once
we have received the instrument and have processed the credit.
If you purchase the wrong size of violin and need to exchange it for a
different size, just send the violin to our P.O Box address and we'll
quickly send you the replacement. We only charge $10.00 to send
you another violin. This charge helps cover the cost of shipping
another violin to you, the packing materials and the cost of a luthier
having to set-up, inspect and test another violin.
If an instrument is returned with damage that is the result of the customer
damaging the instrument or packing it so poorly that it gets damaged,
you can expect to not receive a refund for the total purchurse price.
If an instrument is damaged, we have to sell it at a discounted price,
so we can only refund you for the amount that we are able to sell the violin
for. This can be as much as a 20-50% discount on the original purchase
price depending on the extent of the damage. For complete stringed instrument
warranty information, please refer to our warranty page.
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase
within 48-72 business hours of us receiving your return. Please note that refunds are
not available for any instrument modified by the customer once we have sent
it out. If you need to repair or modify an instrument, please let us know and
we'll probably refer you to a reputable shop or perform the modification ourselves
at a reduced price.
Also, refunds for STRINGS will not be issued if the strings
have been installed on an instrument for any reason. If you have received
a string that you feel is defective, please return it without placing it on your
instrument. Many strings break because of customer installation error. We
cannot be responsible for this. Strings can break due to being defective
from the factory, but this is extremely rare.
