The Louis Carpini G2 Violin is an upgrade to the Louise Carpini G3 Violin in that it has more beautiful wood on the top and back and more time has been taken in the final stages of carving to ensure better tone quality and projection. The back has a significant amount of flame on it. The bow has been upgraded as well. The frog is made from 100% ebony and the eye is genuine mother of pearl. Louis Carpini G-2 violins are sold as an outfit. They come with case, bow, rosin and are ready to play. They are constructed of solid maple back and sides and solid spruce on the top. The purfling is inlaid. All of the fittings are 100% high grade ebony: pegs, chinrest, and fingerboard. Louis Carpini G2 Violins are strung with professional quality D'Addario Zyex strings.
