Provided are some GENERAL GUIDELINES for choosing a cello size for a child.
***note that for proper size, the student should be sized by an instructor***

General age guidelines are as follows:

ages 4-6 use 1/8th size
ages 5-7 use a 1/4 size
ages 7-11 use a 1/2 size
ages 11-15 use 3/4 size
ages 15 and up use a full size (4/4)
