Kremona Studio Violas are made in the Stradivari design by master luthier Hristo Nikolov and his luthiers in Bulgaria. The luthiers at Kremona Studio copy models of famous master makers. Their meticulous attention to detail, varnish recipe, and specific selection of well-seasoned wood along with an exceptional setup guarantees an instrument with amazing sound and playability.

This viola is entirely handcrafted out of fully carved tone woods from the Balkan region. Tight grained spruce is used for the top, and flamed maple for the back, sides and neck. It also features high grade ebony fittings, a custom-fit French Aubert bridge, and beautiful spirit varnish.Each instrument is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed by the maker.

The sound of the viola is typically described by our professional viola testers as: sweet, strong projective and dark. The ease of playability is phenomenal, even in the highest positions.
